Our gates are always open to visitors.

Our longstanding neighbors will have noticed our new entrance. New things are going on inside the campus as well: plays, lunch-time music concerts, special lectures, sporting events, dance recitals, art exhibits, film festivals, museum activities and more. We invite you to attend these events. Most are free and open to the public. Watch our news Web site, your local newspapers and billboards, and listen to NPR for event announcements.

We are also happy to provide a venue for events you may wish to host. The Florence Elston Inn and Conference Center is the perfect place.

Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, we hope you will enjoy your time on campus and experience the magic of Sweet Briar. Our 3,250-acre campus was recently named "Most Beautiful" by Princeton Review!
